FREQUETLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How do I obtain additional information?
A: Complete the online information form or contact us at 877.793.7856.

Q: What does it mean to be an agent for Quest Logistics?
A: You are a contract broker (or "agent") for Quest Logistics, in business for yourself, working under Quest Logistics’ corporate umbrella. That means, you would operate under our FHWA Authority as a transportation broker, be covered by our Surety Bond and be included under the Supplemental Cargo and Liability Insurance policies of Quest Logistics.

Q: How do I become an agent for Quest Logistics?
A: Complete the online application or contact the Agent Business Manager at AgentInfo@shippersquest.com. You may also call 877-793-7856 to speak with a Quest representative.

Q: How do I get paid?
A: Agents are paid weekly by corporate check. Your commission is based on a percentage of the gross profit of invoiced loads for the previous week. A report will be sent to you weekly, showing the loads that were billed and the commissions to be paid to you. After you verify the information, the funds will be sent by the end of the week.

Q: Do you supply loads for agents?
A: No, but we do provide help with rate quoting, Quest corporate information packages and access to load posting boards.

Q: Do you have a database of carriers available to agents?
A: Yes. Quest has a database of more than 5,000 carriers.

Q: When do my carriers get paid?
A: Normal terms are 30 days from receipt of the original bills of lading and invoice.

Q: How are my customers approved?
A: You must submit a credit application for your customer prior to moving any load. We will evaluate your customer's creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits.

Q: Do you offer dispatching software?
A: Yes. After joining our team, you will be given access to our Aljex™ brokerage, dispatching and accounting software.
